The vehicle is mainly composed of car body, coupler & draft gear, brake device, bogie and so on. All-steel welding structure is used for car body. MT-3 type buffer is used for 13B coupler. The air brake system is mainly composed of 120 air control valve, 14-inch brake cylinder, 11-litre and 60-litre air cylinder, NSW hand brake device is used for ZT140 hot-metal car.
